Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO)
We’re looking for a professional, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our growing team as our new Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO). As a Virtual Chief Information Officer, you will serve as a pivotal IT advisor to our clients, offering the expertise and insights needed to drive technological advancements and strategic growth. Your role will involve overseeing IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and enhancing our clients’ IT infrastructure through strategic guidance and planning.

Job Description
Strategic IT Planning:
- Develop and refine comprehensive IT strategies that support clients’ business objectives.
- Lead strategic planning sessions with clients to ensure IT alignment with their business needs.
- Advise on technology trends and innovations to foster business growth and operational efficiency.
IT Governance and Policy Development:
- Establish and enforce IT policies and systems to support the strategic directions of the client.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards across IT infrastructures.
Budget Management:
- Oversee the IT budgeting process and ensure cost-effectiveness and return on investment for IT expenditures.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to optimize financial and operational performance.
Risk Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate IT risks in alignment with the client’s risk management strategy.
- Implement comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and technology needs.
- Act as the primary IT contact for clients, providing guidance and resolving issues to support their business operations.
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of IT strategies.
- Mentor and lead internal teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a CIO, IT Director, or similar managerial role, preferably within an MSP environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and industry-specific technology solutions.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to advise on the adoption of new technologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Uptime and availability metrics:
- Number of strategic meetings with clients
